INITIAL INTEGRATION OF IMMIGRANTS
WHO IS IT FOR?
The programme for learning the Slovenian language and culture is aimed at foreigners who are not citizens of the European Union and have been issued a certificate of eligibility for the free learning programme of Slovenian.
HOW DO I JOIN?
- You need to obtain the certificate of eligibility for the programme from the administrative unit you’re registered in.
- Bring the certificate to our premises at Mestni trg 5 or send us its scan to info@lusentjur.si
- Fill in the application form and bring/send it to us.
- Once we have formed a group, we will contact you.
WHAT’S THE COURSE LIKE?
The course is divided into:
- The ZIP Beginner Programme (60 hours), which is for beginners, adult immigrants aged 16 and over who are literate in Latin.
- The ZIP Continuation Programme (120 hours) is for those who have completed the ZIP Beginner Module or the 60-hour Slovenian language course.
WHAT ABOUT THE EXAM?
Anyone who meets the 80% attendance requirement can apply for a certificate to take the Examination in Slovenian at the basic level (A2/B1) free of charge at the competent administrative unit. The exam can be taken at the Adult Education Centre Celje, the UPI Adult Education Center Žalec or the Adult Education Centre Rogaška Slatina. After successfully passing the exam, you will receive a certificate of Slovene language proficiency at the level of your choice.

The Initial Integration of Immigrants is co-financed by the Ministry of the Interior and the European Union from the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).

WHO IS IT FOR?
The Slovenian language course is for anyone who would like to learn Slovenian as a second or foreign language and is not eligible for the free Initial Integration of Immigrants programme.

WHAT’S THE COURSE LIKE?
The Slovenian language courses are mostly run in small groups and are more individualised, we try to adapt to each student's background and mother tongue.
WHAT ABOUT THE EXAM?
After the course, you can apply for the Slovenian language exam. The exam can be taken at the Adult Education Centre Celje, UPI Adult Education Center Žalec or at the Adult Education Centre Rogaška Slatina and it costs 147,97€. After successfully passing the exam, you will receive a certificate of Slovene language proficiency at the level of your choice.
